FOCAL resource is a non-profit Dutch Foundation founded by the Swiss Foundation FOCAL, and a direct beneficiary of the latter's 24-year experience in professional training for the audiovisual industry: this experience covers the entire production and distribution workflows, from script to all possible screens.

The major focus of FOCAL resource is, as listed in its statutes:

• To support and develop creative, technical and entrepreneurial skills among professionals in the areas of film, audiovisual and new media, through European and international training programmes;
• To support innovative collaborations, coproduction relationships and experiences of cultural diversity through networking between film, audiovisual and new media professionals.
